WOMENS:  2022 Season

Sharks Hockey Club have teams in three different competitions, this means we can cater for women's and teenage girls of all levels and ability.

 

Sydney South Hockey Competition

This is the local competition played at Marang on a Saturday. It is one of only a few Saturday afternoon women's competition and perfect for someone who wants to play some fun social hockey close to home.

 

Sydney East Hockey Competition

We have teams in the Premier League and 2nd grade in this competition. Premier League is played on a Saturday afternoon and 2nd gradre is played on a Sunday. Our Premier League team were Premiers in 2020 and were on track to be Premiers again in 2021 before the season was abruptly stopped. If you are after something a little less serious the 2nd grade competition will suit you. Games are played in south eastern Sydney which includes Marang, Kyeemagh, Sylvania and Daceyville.

 

Sydney Women's Hockey League (SWHL)
Sharks entered this competition in Division 6 in 2018 the club and have worked their way into Division 4. This is a metro competition with games played at the hockey fields at Sydney Olympic Park and around the Sydney metro area. The SWHL competition is a Sydney wide competition.

Whilst we did not get to finish the 2021 season Sharks Hockey Club had five players who played in the Open Women's State Championships and won Division 2. This means the Association have progressed and now have a team in Division 1.
